* !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! * The next stop in our trip around the world takes us across the English Channel to Circuit de La Sarthe in Le Mans, France.

Le Mans. Truly, the “Mecca” for all motorsports fans. Since 1923, it has been home to one of the oldest, most grueling endurance races of all time. Many drivers have found glory, defeat, or death on this track. Features all over this track will test the full capabilities of a vehicle and a driver’s skills, from the high speeds of the uneven Mulsanne Straight, to the twisting turns of the Ford Chicanes and the Porsche Curves. It is also the central inspiration for this particular racing series.

Gentlemen, start your engines.

The lap time to meet for this week’s race is 4:15, and we will be running on the Old Mulsanne configuration. There will be some leeway with the time, since this is a difficult track to run consistently, so try to get as close to the time as possible. But please take plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the track and to tune your car. (Also, please let me know if this seems unattainable. I question the wisdom of testing this particular course with the Cobra...)

I missed the last two, but I’m definitely going to be at this one. Really had to beef up my car to match the lap time, though.

Yeah, I’ve had to bump mine up to A class. I think I might cut the time by two seconds.

Don’t do it so we’re all hitting really high top speeds.

Everyone’s gonna fly off the Mulsanne and go *splat*.

these cars are not my forté especially for a track like la sarthe so giving it a miss as I got some other things to do
